[学科概况]
有机化学与药物化学教研室成立于2007年10月8日，由原基础医学院化学教研室划归药学院管理后重新组建。目前本教研室在职在岗人员15名，其中，学校引进第二层次人才1人，第三层次人才1人，博后1人，科研助理2人，其中具有博士学位的10人，在读博士2人，具有高级职称教师8人，学科师资队伍不断发展壮大。
2020年有机化学获广西壮族自治区一流本科课程，同年被评为区级金课。
教研室主要承担的教学任务有：
研究生：高等有机化学、现代药物设计学、现代波谱分析等
本科：医学有机化学、药学有机化学、全英有机化学、药物化学、药物设计学等。
专科：药学有机化学、药物化学等
[科室荣誉]
魏红玉获五一劳动奖章；徐佳佳获第二届全区教师创新大赛一等奖；陈曦、谢集照、魏红玉、徐佳佳多人次获本科课堂教学质量奖；陈曦、吴峥、谢集照、赵农老师多次获最受欢迎教师奖。
